About Our Director
Valerie Sinkus, P.T.
Since graduating from the University of Southern California in 1975, with a Bachelor's of Science degree and certificate in Physical Therapy, Valerie has taken a broad range of post-graduate courses and has advanced clinical experience in orthopedics, sports medicine, rheumatology, temporomandibular joint dysfunction, and industrial medicine.
She has traveled nationally and internationally lecturing on clinical topics such as "The Evaluation and Treatment of Soft Tissue Injuries," as well as providing treatment for Olympic and professional athletes.
Valerie's dedication to excellence in physical therapy is evident by the quality of care provided at Professional Physical Therapy Associates.

Professional Physical Therapy Associates, Inc., was established in Whittier in 1982 by it's director Valerie Sinkus, P.T. Over the years we have expanded our facility four times to better meet the needs of our patients.
We are a staff of licensed, trained professionals and we pride ourselves in being leaders in our field, continually expanding our knowledge and skills through post-graduate educational courses. It is gratifying that both patients and medical professionals acknowledge our innovative approach to physical therapy and the results we acheive.
We strive to provide outstanding services to our referring physicians and referral sources by sending an initial evaluation report and monthly progress reports. Our highly trained specialists will work with individuals or businesses to develop specifically targeted treatment plans.
